Get psyched for Emily King’s Parish show with new Tituss Burgess video

With a silky voice, stylish sophistication and a free-spirited aesthetic, Emily King’s music is well-suited to this era of soulful fusion. The progeny of a jazz singing-duo, King grew up in New York immersed in the city’s vibrant music scene. Her 2015 album “The Switch” was a collection of sweeping emotional declarations, delicate meditations and surprisingly funky grooves and with the 2016 release of a new deluxe edition her career is taking flight.

Today King dropped a perfect video for the track “BYIMM (By You I Mean Me)” featuring “Kimmy Schmidt” show-stealer Tituss Burgess.

King plays the Parish on Monday, July 25. Tickets are still available for $16 and this is likely your last shot at seeing her at such a small venue.
