Programming for the Globe Stage at Sound on Sound Fest, the new event booked by Fun Fun Fun Fest co-founder Graham Williams, was announced Tuesday. Like the Yellow stage at Fun Fun Fun Fest, the stage will feature an eclectic mix of comedy, spoken word and music. Highlights include a live taping of (Expletive) Up lead singer Damian Abraham’s podcast ‘Turned Out a Punk,’ comedy by Tim Heidecker, Joe Mande and Todd Barry, and Austin punk lifers Midgetmen performing “Spinal Tap.”

The festival takes place this year on the grounds of Sherwood Forest Faire, and organizers named the stage as an appropriate hat tip to Shakespeare. Through the weekend the stage will also host panel discussions, including a previously announced session with members of the Russian activist punk group, Pussy Riot.  Fest organizers also promise the debut of a self-produced variety show, The Two Knight Show, “will delight fest fans with surprise guests throughout the three-day event.”

Sound on Sound Fest takes place from Nov. 4-6. More information and tickets.
