Taylor Swift’s ‘Reputation’ tour will not stop in Austin or San Antonio

Taylor Swift dropped her new album ‘Reputation’ to mixed reviews last Friday. On Monday, she announced dates for the accompanying U.S. tour and Austin fans who want to catch the show should prepare for a road trip.

The show is not coming to Austin or San Antonio. Swift currently has two Texas dates on her roster, the final two dates of the tour. She will perform in Houston on Sept. 29 and Arlington on Oct. 6.

While an Swift appearance at Austin City Limits Festival seems like the longest of long shots, it is worth mentioning that the tour conclusion coincides with the first weekend of the mega fest in Zilker Park. ACL Fest 2018 takes place on Oct. 5-7 and Oct. 12-14.

Swift’s last appearance in Austin was in 2016, when she headlined one of the Circuit of the America U.S. Grand Prix after shows. That appearance was her only concert of the year.
