Who's on ACL Fest 2024 lineup? Following Zilker pay phone pop up, internet has theories

Austin City Limits Music Festival is a mere five months away and theories on this year's lineup abound.

ACL Fest helped fuel lineup speculation over the weekend with a pay phone set up in Zilker Park. When you picked up the receiver, it played different sounds that some are calling clues. The pay phone was only available on Saturday, but that didn't slow internet sleuths. ACL Fest is releasing the official 2024 lineup on Tuesday at 9 a.m. Let's review some theories.

The ACL Fest subreddit was obviously our main stop when looking for theories. Commenters believe Sabrina Carpenter, Orville Peck, Sturgill Simpson, Leon Bridges, Still Woozy and Foster the People are performing in Zilker this year.

Some think Blink 182 is coming. Others on ACL Fest's Instagram page say Tyler, the Creator is coming because his 2021 album is named "Call Me If You Get Lost." (The 2023 deluxe edition was called "Call Me If You Get Lost: The Estate Sale.")

Other commenters fear ACL regulars (and last year's headliner) Mumford and Sons will headline.
